The Four Corners Green Living Expo is an exhibition of the latest and greatest green products and services dedicated to making the world a better place while promoting a better life through smarter living. The expo will host over 75 exhibitions, featuring informative workshops and seminars, an interactive kid’s section, a bike recycling program, a local café and beer garden and so much more.

Expo’s commonly asked questions—

• How much does it cost?
  $2.00 entry fee-proceeds benefit the Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado
  
  
• Can I bring my kids?
  YES- Please bring them to enjoy the kids activities. Kids under 12 are free
  
  
• Can I just come to a workshop?
  Yes, the $2.00 entry fee includes all workshops except for the evening keynote speaker, that fee is $10.00.
  
  
• Where do I park?
  You can park in the fairgrounds parking lot and if that is full, please use the Durango High School parking lot.
  
  
• Can I ride my Bike?
  YES!! We will offer give-aways and prizes to those who ride their bikes-also front row parking. Check out the “Get on your Bike and Ride” campaign above.
  
  
• Who is the Beneficiary of the event?
  SASCO - Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado
  Proceeds benefit Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado, a local non-profit whose mission is to promote the sustainability movement in Southwest Colorado by facilitating communication, collaboration, and integrated solutions among individuals and organizations with a primary focus in La Plata County.

Discovery Museum Kid’s Corner

The Durango Discovery Museum presents the Durango Discovery Kids Corner: an interactive display of kid’s activities that will both engage and educate! Enjoy learning with solar car races, power generating bicycles, paper making and much more! Educating our youth on environmental practices and teaching them to become aware of how they can be more proactive is a critical piece of sustaining our community.

BICYCLE LEMONADE a recyclery

Bicycle Lemonade is a small program started by employees and friends of Durango Cyclery.  Fueled by a huge stock pile of donated junkers, our aim is to re-cycle bikes and get them back on the streets of the community. The Bicycle Lemonade program accepts donations of old parts and bikes.  Bikes are then rebuilt and offered back to the community at dirt cheap-affordable prices.  The Bicycle Lemonade programs goal is to form a true community bicycle coop and work to develop a bike-saturated community.
